Oronoco Crossings
Oronoco Township, MN
This project consisted of 74 acres of rural property that abuts the Highway 52 right-of-way in Oronoco Township. MBI provided all services from planning through construction administration for the development.
The project was platted and divided into multiple commercial lots for future development. People’s Cooperative Services has anchored the development with the construction of their new facility on the southwest corner.
The project provided several challenges including the design of a septic system that will serve the development until centralized sewer can be brought to the site. In addition, a large drainage way was used to bypass large flows traversing the site. This allowed for increased developable acreage for the client. As an aesthetic feature, the client requested a PVC liner for the detention pond to ensure a constant water level for a display fountain for the entrance.
