Broadway Commons Shopping Center
Rochester, MN
Broadway Commons is a large commercial retail development that sits on approximately 47 acres east of South Broadway in southeastern Rochester, Minnesota. McGhie & Betts was involved in a multitude of services including creation and approval of the general development plan, traffic impact report, site plan and geotechnical services for
the project. During the actual grading of the site, McGhie & Betts provided construction staking, inspection and construction materials testing.
The shopping center is anchored by multiple super retailers including Kohl’s, Wal-Mart, Sports Authority, and Menards. Future phases include the extension of 25th Street SE around to 20th Street SE to provide better transportation connections.
